Triobelisk "Dif Rox"
Triobelisk starts off the new year with a release of his signature closing track from his live sets entitled "Dif Rox". An oscillating club banger with nods to arena rock, techno and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. One can say it's even a tribute to the last days of the space shuttle and the future of man going back to rocket travel. The EP comes out first on bandcamp for the price you choose (starting at FREE) and contains remixes from L.A. Diamond, Ungt Blod and a glitchy brain exploding remix by new Swedish Columbia signing, Itaru, from Tokyo, Japan. Here's to 2010!
L.A. Diamond "Bounce"
Club Animal - Gothenburg, Sweden 2009. BMK (Blandmissbruk) took the stage for their final performance which ended with on-stage tension and back-stage drama. It started with too many drinks and a trigger happy partner smashing the beat-repeat function on a Pioneer mixer. It ended in fisticuffs and a lonely drive back to the hood for L.A. Diamond with cash and laptop in hand. Oddly the night ended with the new track “Bounce” which is featured on this single that had the crowd on its feet and in the air. This is the beginning of something new with former BMKer L.A. Diamond coming into his own and taking his experiences of living in California and Brazil to the beats.
Single features 2 b-sides and remixes by Ungt Blod and Tanimura Midnight.
