All music by Triobelisk
Triobelisk, a mysterious entity from the outer-reaches of another dimension where modern electro is introduced to early synth pioneers Klaus Schulze and France's Didier Mourani. Multi-layered analog synths with harder modern rhythms creating a sound that harkens back as much as it looks forward. The EP starts off building a mood that brings to mind dimly lit space cantinas such as the one on Tatooine where Han Solo meets Greedo... and no, we don't accept that Greedo shot first! And with brash- ness similar to Han Solo, the EP builds up to a pumping and challenging piece known as Xplosions that works equally well in a french club or a video game shooter from 1993. An exciting debut by this up coming producer whose diverse works span from commissioned remixes by Sunny Day Sets Fire, Dillinger Escape Plan and Divison Of Laura Lee. Not to mention Triobelisk's grey-market Phil Collins "Sussudio" remix, all of which are starting to cause ripples in the electronic blogosphere and beyond.
