Triobelisk follows up his recent full-length in this year of 2010 with a collection of remixes from his blog-acclaimed EP "1", which included the video-game inspired epic sci-fi/electro track "Xrystal Eye". For the first time since the blog-release of the remixes in early 2009 have these tracks been available.

Originally featured on BigStereo.com, the EP kicks off with a remix by DC's up and coming disco act, Dmerit, who reconstructs the track with live-bass and keyboard solos bringing to mind Aeroplane, funk and balearic sounds. Following this is an epic nearly nine minute remix odyssey by Jonathan Kreinik who propels the track into deep conceptual story with adventurous and atmospheric movements accentuated with crunchy drums. Enough material in Jonathan's track alone to constitute a release on its own as an epic DJ tool.

Rounding out the EP are exclusive remakes including a 16-bit version of "Xrystal Eye" that fits perfectly along a lost Turbo-Grafx16 or Sega Genesis game as well as remixes from the "Zoneplex" EP of the track "Xrystal City" by BMK (now L.A. Diamond) as well as Dmerit. Originally these tracks made their way around the blogosphere back in 2007 and now also resurface.

This release is closed by a Triobelisk revisited version of "Xrystal City" and an exclusive new track "Return to Xrystal" which displays a shape of things to come– an epic track filled with 8-bit and analog synth sounds accentuated by guitars that bring to mind Brian May of Queen. The melodies take the track into sci-fi space opera adventures that stimulate the mind's eye. If this is the future- then it looks as if we are heading straight into supernovae.
